The dark shadows nip at my feet
slyly leading me to my downfall
the trees speak with wisps of broken words
branches, torn form their core
bind my hands behind
my back
a killing was a burden
living is a hell
death cant be seen
dying bllod before us,
to hard to be watched
so we close our eyes and scream
shreik a blood curdling cry
not for help
not for love
not for a place in that faraway paradise
we call a safe haven
as i kneel there
the shadows nipping at my soul
trees speaking in wisps of broken words
hands binded by branches behind my back
i lift my chin to the darkness
open my eyes to the shadows
listen clearly to the wisps of broken words
break away the binded branches
stand
and let myself plunge
plunge into the endless void
that summoned my tattered soul
